Workforce Recovery Training Program (WRTP)

The City Of Redding and California Heritage YouthBuild Academy (CHYBA) have partnered to launch the Shasta County Workforce Recovery Training Program (WRTP), offering no-cost job training and support services to individuals in our community impacted by the 2018 disasters. Funded by the CDBG-DR Workforce Development Program, this initiative is designed to help you gain the skills and support needed to succeed in today’s job market.
No requirement to have been directly impacted by the 2018 disasters to apply! This opportunity is open to all Shasta County residents. See guidlines below

Who can apply?
- Must be a resident of Shasta County
- Must fall in the Low to Middle Income bracket
- No age requirements or limits
- No requirement to have been directly impacted by the 2018 disasters
- Open to individuals looking to build new skills and pursue long-term employment
