Personalized Education
At California Heritage YouthBuild Academy (CHYBA), we offer a flexible and supportive learning environment designed to meet students where they are. Our students benefit from a personalized, move-at-your-own-pace curriculum that supports diverse learning styles and life circumstances. Our goal is to empower young adults of all academic levels to reach their full potential and earn their high school diploma.
Career Technical Education
CHYBA’s Career Technical Education (CTE) program gives students hands-on training in high-demand fields like culinary arts, construction, entrepreneurship, and more. Through real-world projects and industry-relevant skills, students prepare for the workforce while earning their high school diploma.
Community Service
Community service is at the heart of our program. By giving back, students build confidence, grow as leaders, and gain real-world experience that connects their learning to meaningful impact. Service projects foster a sense of purpose and pride, helping students see themselves as valuable contributors to their communities, and in turn, improve their communities.
Mentoring
The CHYBA Mentoring Program provides students with consistent, positive support through both peer and community-based mentoring relationships. Mentors help students build confidence, set goals, and stay engaged in their education and personal development. The program fosters connection, accountability, and growth as part of CHYBA’s commitment to student success.
